What We Believe

We believe in one God. (cf. Exodus 20:3; Ephesians 4:6)

We believe that Jesus is the Christ the Son of the Living God; (cf. Matthew 16:16)

We believe that Jesus was conceived by the virgin Mary who conceived after she was found with child of the Holy Ghost (cf. Matthew 1:18)

We believe that a person must accept Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour and repent of their sins in order to be saved. (cf. Acts 3:19)

We believe that there is no entrance into the Kingdom of Heaven without first going through the process of salvation by an act of true repentance (cf. John 3:3; 1st Peter 1:23)

We believe that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. (cf. Romans 3:23)

We believe in the sacrament of water baptism as an open profession of one’s commitment to God (cf. Matthew 3:1; Acts 2:39; Romans 6:4; Colossians 2:12)

We believe in the atoning power of the Blood of Jesus and that it was His blood that paid the price for the redemption of mankind from the law of sin and of death (cf. Romans 5:11)

We believe that the Blood of Jesus is the price paid for the redemption of mankind from sin and death (cf. Ephesians 1:7)

We believe that Jesus died on the cross and rose again on the third day and that He is coming back again to judge the saved and the unsaved. (cf. Revelation 20:11-13)

We believe that there is no other mediator between God and man except Jesus Christ. (cf. 1st Timothy 2:5)

We believe in the sacrament of Communion and that only those who have an experiential relationship with Christ; who are born again, baptized and have truly repented of their sins are worthy to partake of this sacrament. (cf.1st Corinthians 11:20)

We believe that there is a baptism of the Holy Ghost (cf. Acts 1:8) and in the operation of the five fold ministry within the Body of Christ (cf. 1st Corinthians 12:28-31)

We believe in the gifts of the Spirit, namely the word of wisdom; word of knowledge; faith; gifts of healing; working of miracles; prophecy; discerning of spirits; diverse kinds of tongues and the interpretation of tongues. (cf. 1st Corinthians 12:8-10)

We believe in the Holy Spirit and His work in the lives of Christians who willingly submit themselves to Him. (cf. Acts 2:1-4)

We believe the Bible in its entirety is the true Word of God both Old and New Testament written by holy men who were inspired by the Holy Ghost and that the principles must be adhered to. (cf. Job 32:8; 2nd Timothy 3:16)

We believe in spiritual warfare and that as Christians we are active participants in this warfare. (cf. Ephesians 6:8-10)

We believe in the Great Commission; in spreading the good news of Jesus Christ throughout the nations of the world. (cf. Matthew 28:19-20)

We believe that the principles of tithing and giving of offering are instituted as God’s financial plan of prosperity for the church (cf. Malachi 3:8)

We believe 1st Peter 1:15 which states: “But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;” is the scripture that every Christian is called to live by

We believe in the trinity, namely that the Father, Son and Holy Spirit are one according to 1st John 5:7 “For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.”

We believe the words of 1st John 5:8 which says: “And there are three that bear witness in earth, the spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.”

We believe that there is a Heaven to gain and a Hell to shun. (cf. Revelation 20:14-15; 19:1)

We believe in the imminent resurrection of the dead as described in the scriptures (cf. Revelation 20:6)

We believe in the judgment seat of Christ (cf. 2nd Corinthians 5:10)

We believe in anointing with oil and in the laying on of hands by the presbytery (cf. James 5:14; 1st Timothy 4:14)

We believe in the practice of the spiritual disciplines of prayer and fasting (cf. Matthew 17:21)
